ACT Project Team
ACT has assembled a team of Consultants and Trainers, whose blend of expertise
and record of success provide a skills base which is tailored to delivering
the Project on time and to a very high standard.
To ensure that the Project is professionally developed, the team will
consist of a Project Director and experienced Consultants and Trainers,
supported by our research and administrative teams. The team consists
of:
Project Director :
Keith R. Stevens BSc, MA, MSc, Dip Lib, Dip M, DMS, AIoD, AIMC, MIED,
MILAM, MCIM, FCIPD, FCMI, FInstBA, FBSC, FCLIP, FRSA is a recognised expert
with a record of success in the development of leisure and tourism, education,
economic development, public sector reform, human resource management
and development and marketing. He has experience of both the public and
private sectors.
Keith is the co-founder of ACT and has been able to
bring about significant management change in client organisations, particularly
focusing on market testing, performance benchmarking and standards, service
delivery, education and training and marketing.
Keith is an Accredited External Adviser, Advanced Skills Teacher and
Excellent Teacher Assessor and Performance Management Consultant he is
also a Lead trainer for the DfES. He is a former LEA Adviser and has been
the Chief Officer of two London Boroughs.

Keith Stevens has recently been admitted to the Freedom
of the Company of Management Consultants (COMC) and is seen here receiving
his Freedom Certificate from the Master of the Company. Keith was
granted the Freedom of the City of London in 2000 and became a City
Liveryman with the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants in
2004. He was elected to the Court of Assistants in 2006. |

Keith was until recently Chairman of Hertford Regional
College and is currently Co-opted Member of the East of England Regional
Assembly. He is also a member of the Board of the Local Strategic
Partnership (LSP) for East Hertfordshire.

As Project Director, Keith will be responsible for:
- liaison with the Client and providing the first point of contact within
ACT
- proposal development and presentation to the Client
- agreement with the Client over the approach to be followed
- project stages and timescales
- co-ordination of the team
- quality control and the overall management of the project
- project delivery, on time, within budget and to the Client's brief
- preparation and presentation of the final report
- evaluation and Client feedback

Christine Stevens |
|
|
Christine is a co-founder of ACT, and an experienced
teacher with over 20 years experience. Christine assists with the
preparation of materials for use with Clients and also contributes
to training sessions as required. Christine is an Accredited assessor
for the Graduate Teacher Programme and the Overseas trained Teacher
Programme. She is also an Assessor for the Advanced Skills Teacher
and Excellent Teacher Programmes. |

Jeffrey Loffman, BA, Dip Lib, Dip M, DMS
Jeffrey is an experienced manager and trainer with a teaching background
as well. Jeffrey has brought about significant management change in
the various posts he has occupied, particularly in education and local
government.
Carl Earl FCLIP
Carl is a former Local Authority Chief Officer and offers specific support
on library and information projects. Carl brings with him significant
experience in the development of the arts and culture.
Mike Henry MA, MSc MCLIP
Mike is also a former Local Authority Chief Officer with experience
of libraries and heritage.
Michael Mayers B Soc. Sc., MMRS.
Michael's research experience dates back to 1959, when he joined Social
Surveys (Gallup Poll). Since then he has worked in senior managerial
positions with Research Bureau Ltd (Unilever), Gillette Industries,
Mass Observation, The Ever Ready Company and BLA Management Services
Group. In 1983, he formed M & E Consultants and over the years has set
up and carried out all types of market research projects, both nationally
and internationally. In 1995/96, Michael controlled a major research
programme for BSI Standards, which they described as "the largest single
piece of market research ever carried out by a national standards body."
Since 1998, Michael Mayers and ACT have been working
together in a strategic alliance.
